Dear All,
what makes writing particularly enjoyable is discussing the topics that are interesting for you, that provoke thought and enable you to consider them from different perspectives. So, what I am inviting you to do is to think about 3 or 4 topics that you personally would be interested in writing about, and sharing them with your peers and me in the thread. Add a 2-3 sentence explanation of what makes these topics interesting for you to discuss.
Also, read what 2 or 3 of your peers have suggested and comment on it by letting us know in what ways some of these suggestions can be interesting for you to discuss.

ReplyDelete1) Movies. I really like wathing movies. Besides, I feel like every person has something to say about this topic.
2) Languages. I'm really interested in learning foreign languages. Nowadays I am especially interested in Asian languages such as Chinese, Korean and Japanese. These languages are rather different, so I think it would be interesting to compare them.
3) Books. I am a big fan of talking about books and analyzing them. During my Russian literature course in school I enjoyed writing essays where I could share my opinion about characters and their relationships.

ReplyDeleteHere are some topics I find interesting:
ReplyDelete1) Creative Process. There's something fascinating about learning what goes into creating any piece of media, be it a film, a videogame or a book. It's especially interesting to learn about the creation of any particular product: the team behind it, the initial idea they had for it, the creative process itself with all its details, hurdles the team had to overcome to complete their product, that sort of thing.
2) Architecture. I simply like architecture very much. I like learning about history of architecture, different architectural styles and architecture of different parts of the world. I enjoy seeing interesting buildings and various interesting design decisions implemented in these buildings.
3) Learning. I don't simply like learning, I like learning about how learning works, how thinking works, whether or not it's possible to improve learning process, everything about this topic is intriguing to me. Nevertheless, I've barely read any serious scientific literature on the topic.
I want to share some ideas of my favourite topics, such as:
ReplyDelete1)Travelling. I like to know interesting and amazing places that I can visit. Moreover, I consider that traveliing is a peculiar part of life, it brings lots of emotions that make our life make sense and interesting events. I want to share my emotions and explerience with my groupmates.

3)Foreign languages. I like learning English and Chinese. I'd like to learn also Arabic, I think learning languges not only develops your memory but also it broadens your horizon and in my opinion, it's so cool to speak few languages at one time, that you can show-off among your peers and be respectable.
