Semester 2: Task-1: Writing your own story

Dear All,

hope you had a good semester break and are ready to start studying again. Today, I'd like you to create your own stories using a tool called a Random Plot Generator: www.writingexercises.co.uk/plotgenerator.php

It'll give you a series of prompts regarding character names, a setting, a situation and a theme, and provide you with key nouns and adjectives around which you are going to create a story.

  1. Dear All,

What you should do today (25.02.2020) first is finish writing your story you started last time.
Then you should read 2 stories published by your peers and comment on them using the following questions to help you do it:
    a) Is the story interesting? Did you enjoy reading it? What did you like about the story in particular?
    b) See if it can be improved in some way. It could be the story's general appeal or one of its more technical elements, such as the mechanics, language or style.

    1. Publish your comments below the stories. You are more than welcome to read all the stories but comment on 2 of them by the next lesson (March 3). Good luck!

  2. As stated by Stanford Medical, It's indeed the SINGLE reason women in this country get to live 10 years longer and weigh an average of 19 kilos less than we do.

(And by the way, it is not about genetics or some secret exercise and really, EVERYTHING to do with "how" they are eating.)

P.S, What I said is "HOW", and not "WHAT"...
